What questions are most relevant to you as a person who stammers? Barbara Moseley-Harris from Birmingham City University wants to find out.
Barbara has collected ideas from adults who stammer about topics and questions they would like to be researched in the area of stammering support and intervention.
She'd now like to know how important YOU think these ideas are. Barbara invites you to complete an online survey rating these ideas, based on your own experience.
She wants as many different views as possible. So, if you:
- live in the UK
- are 18 or older
- began stammering as a child or teenager and
- have experienced stammering during adulthood...
...Barbara would love to hear from you.
You do not need to have an obvious stammer. Plus, you do not need to have experience of any form of stammering support or interventions to take part.
Take the survey
You can start the survey, and read more information, using this link.
It takes around 30 minutes to complete. If you would prefer to break it up into shorter sections, please email Barbara at barbara.moseleyharris@mail.bcu.ac.uk and she will tell you how you can do that.
Once you have finished and your survey has been verified, you'll get a £5 voucher as a thank you.
If online surveys are not possible for you, or if you have questions, please email barbara.moseleyharris@mail.bcu.ac.uk
This study has been approved by the STAMMA Research Panel — read more about this. It has also received ethical approval from Birmingham City University and funding support from the Dominic Barker Trust.
