Parent2Parent Stammering Support Groups
'Parent2Parent', our free online support groups for parents of children who stammer.
It can sometimes feel confusing and worrying when your child stammers. How do you navigate the ups and downs of stammering?
You might be concerned for your child's future and how best to help them. How can you support yourself? It's not unusual to have lots of questions.
That's why we set up the 'Parent2Parent: Pull Up a Chair' online support groups to help. You can meet other UK parents over Zoom to share your concerns, experiences, tips and advice, or just chat.
At each Parent2Parent group meeting there's a mix of people who are new to stammering and others who have more experience.
The sessions stopped us feeling so powerless and gave us a new focus, a plan of action and improved understanding.
