A PhD student wanting to increase diversity in body image research, invites you to take part in her study.
Georgina Burton from York St. John University says, "Eating disorder and body image research is lacking in its diversity, but you can help change that. I'm looking for people I can interview about how having a disability may uniquely affect body image.
'It will take no more than an hour, and I'll ask questions about your attitudes towards and influences of stammering, your body image and eating habits, and how they may all relate to each other. With my research, I aim to make eating disorder measurements more accurate and inclusive, meaning more people can access help when they need it".
What's involved?
Join Georgina for an interview over Microsoft Teams, or if you're local, in York. Georgina will give you a £10 Love2Shop e-voucher for your time.
Who's eligible?
To take part, you need to:
- be aged 18+
- live in the UK, and
- have a/more than one disability or difference (excluding learning disabilities).
