A monthly group in Warrington for people who stammer.
Group founder Yinka says, "This group for people who stammer in Warrington is a user-led group that meets regularly to offer support, friendship, encouragement, share learning and hints/tips for improved communication and confidence. We also share frustrations, day to day challenges and our highlights and successes in a safe, patient and understanding environment".

Times & venue
Meetings are held every month on a Wednesday evening, either in-person or over Zoom. In-person meetings are at Alford sports and social club (the former games room situated on the first floor), Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3NJ. At 6:45pm we get a drink from the bar, then start meetings at 7pm. We usually finish at 9pm.

- Wed 29th May: no in-person meeting (bank holiday), but a Zoom meeting if required. Contact Yinka
- Wed 26th June: in-person meeting at Alfords Sports Club, from 6:45pm
- Wed 31st July: no meeting (summer holidays)
- Aug: no meeting as the group will be attending the STAMMAFest conference (15th-18th Aug, Nottingham)
- Wed 25th Sept: in-person meeting at Alfords Sports Club, from 6:45pm
- Wed 30th Oct: no in-person meeting, but a Zoom meeting if required. Contact Yinka
- Wed 27th Nov: in-person meeting at Alfords Sports Club, from 6:45pm
- Dec: No meeting (Christmas).
Rates
The rates for anyone attending a meeting are £3 (or £1 if you are unemployed). This will help pay for the room hire/club membership. Drinks at the bar will be discounted for the group.
