A monthly group in Warrington for people who stammer.
Group founder Yinka says, "This group for people who stammer in Warrington is a user-led group that meets regularly to offer support, friendship, encouragement, share learning and hints/tips for improved communication and confidence.
'We also share frustrations, day to day challenges and our highlights and successes in a safe, patient and understanding environment".

Meetings are held every month on a Wednesday evening at Alford sports and social club (the former games room situated on the first floor), Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3NJ. "At 6:45pm we get a drink from the bar, then start meetings at 7pm. We usually finish at 9pm". You can also join online via Zoom.
The rates for anyone attending a meeting are £3 (or £1 if you are unemployed). This helps pay for the room hire/club membership. Drinks at the bar will be discounted for the group".

Meeting dates for 2026
The group will be meeting on each of the dates below. Each event will be at Alford Sports & Social Club, Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3NJ. Arrive from 6:45pm for a 7pm start. Meetings finish around 8:30-8:45pm.
When you arrive, you can access the ground floor bar for a refreshment before the meeting (discounted prices for the group). The meeting space is on the first floor. There is lift access and all rooms are accessible.
