Announcing STAMMAFest 2024

After the huge success of STAMMAFest Global last year, we are delighted to announce details of our next conference.

We've been struggling to keep it under wraps, but can now reveal that the next STAMMAFest will be held in Nottingham from 15th -18th August 2024. The theme will be 'Voices worth hearing'.

We are so excited to meet again and explore all things stammering. Whether you want to hang out with your stammering tribe, debate the hot topics of the day, find out about communities or celebrate wins in the stammering world... come and feel inspired. The event will take place at Nottingham Trent University.

If you weren't able to come to STAMMAFest Global 2022 and saw events unfold on social media feeling a little envious, don't miss out this time. The atmosphere will be warm, welcoming and engaging for those who stammer and their allies.

What will it include?

At STAMMAFest there'll be something for everyone. There'll be events for people who stammer, allies, campaigners, speech and language therapists, researchers and artists. On Saturday 17th, a Family Day will run alongside the main event, with lots of fun activities for children and workshops for parents.

STAMMAFest will give you a warm welcome, whether it's your first conference or your 51st. We want people who are reaching out to the stammering world for the first time to feel welcomed, safe and accepted. We'll have extra support for first timers/solo attendees, so don't worry if you're signing up to come alone... you won't feel alone for long and there's a good chance you'll leave having made new lifelong friends and connections. If it's not your first time, we're hoping you'll feel renewed and inspired.

The organising committee is busy behind the scenes plotting and planning a range of workshops, discussions, entertainment and social events. Become a STAMMA member for free and we'll keep you up to date with all the latest news.
