What help can you get at work if you stammer? Find out with this free workshop.

Procedures and ways of working in organisations are often set up without any thought for employees who stammer.

UK organisations have a legal obligation not to exclude or make working life difficult for staff who stammer.

Learn about 'reasonable adjustments'

Whether you stammer yourself or work with someone who stammers, this session is full of tips and ideas. The aim is to show how workplaces can easily adapt to ensure that employees who stammer feel welcome, can thrive and get on with their jobs. These adaptations are called 'reasonable adjustments'.

If you have concerns or questions about stammering in the workplace, this one-hour session is for you! There'll be tips and resources on:

  • interview procedures
  • using the phone, intercoms or radios at work
  • presentations
  • meetings
  • interactions with customers and colleagues, and much more.
