Mushy: Lyrically Speaking
A brand new musical telling the uplifting tale inspired by the true story of Musharaf Asghar (Educating Yorkshire) is now touring the country, with a live stream on Friday 13th Sept.
In the Bollywood-inspired show by the Rifco Theatre Company, Mushy, a young man with a debilitating stammer, finds himself at the centre of a television documentary. In a moment of inspiration from his teacher, Mr. Burton, he starts to find a rhythm in his voice through music. Social media erupts and both teacher and pupil become overnight celebrities.
