Join the 'Stories Beyond Words' filmmaking collective at Barnsley Hospital to experience their co-created 'Dysfluent Journeys' installation.
They invite the public, patients and healthcare staff to reflect upon what it's like to navigate day-to-day life with a communication difference including stammering and dysarthria.
Stories Beyond Words is a collaborative creative research project challenging societal ableist norms around what communication 'should' be like. The collective presented plans for the installation at our 2022 STAMMAFest conference.
