An online support group meeting for parents of pre-school and primary school-aged children who stammer.
It can feel confusing when your child stammers. You might be concerned for their future and not sure how best to help. How can you support yourself? It's not unusual to have lots of questions and feel worried about stammering.
That's why we host the 'Parent2Parent: Pull up a chair' support group. These are online meetings for UK parents of children who stammer. Meet other parents over Zoom to share concerns, experiences, tips and advice.
It's a great opportunity to learn what others have found helpful and not so helpful. Or maybe you're in a situation where you're feeling confident supporting your child and want to help others.
Everyone is welcome! Grab yourself a cuppa, pull up a chair and come and have a natter with us! The sessions involve a mix of parents who are new to stammering, and those who have more experience. Come and chat with parents who know what it's like.
