Santa In The City: Join Us
Join us on Wednesday 1st December, as our fundraisers don their finest Father Christmas costumes to support people who stammer.
This Christmas, you're invited to our final fundraising event of the year; Santa in the City. Our sponsored runners will be taking on a 5k or 10k past St. Paul's Cathedral, Millennium Bridge and Shakespeare's Globe in London, dressed as Father Christmas.
If you'd like to come along and join our Street Team to cheer on the runners, please arrive at The Founder's Arms Pub, no later than 6:40pm. If you're using Google Maps, the postcode is SE1 9JH.
While the runners take their places, we'll make our way down to outside Shakespeare's Globe. This is only a two-minute walk from the Start Line. If you arrive late, your best bet is to head there. However, it could be very busy and we may need to stand somewhere else. If you arrive late, look out for the giant, dark green STAMMA Banner, that's where we’ll be. If you can't find us, drop us a text on 07746 949438.
We should be finished by 8pm. The runners will then come to meet the cheerers outside Shakespeare's Globe, and we'll pop into the pub next door, The Swan.
Please note this is all subject to which areas are accessible on the day and not too busy. For example, we may need to try a different pub if The Swan is full. Therefore, if you can aim to meet the group as a whole at 6:40pm, that would be fab.
It'll be cold, so please dress sensibly. We'd also encourage you to take a lateral flow test beforehand, so we can all enjoy the evening safely and securely.
If you can't come but would like to donate, visit our Fighting Fund to support us.
