Delivering our petition to BBC & ITV

Join us in London and Manchester on International Stammering Awareness Day as we deliver our petition to the BBC & ITV.

'Being seen and being heard' is the theme of this year's International Stammering Awareness Day, on Saturday 22nd October. This fits in neatly with the end of the No Diversity Without Disfluency campaign we launched last year. We'll be drawing this to a close by delivering our petition calling for better representation of people who stammer in the media, which has over 25,000 signatures, to the BBC and ITV on Saturday 22nd October. Come and join us in London or Manchester!

In London we'll be meeting at Caffé Nero, 273 Regent Street, W1B 2EZ at 11:45am. We'll then walk up to BBC Broadcasting House to deliver the petition at 12 noon and hang around on the forecourt for half an hour to raise stammering awareness.  We'll then head to a coffee shop nearby for a chat.

In Manchester, another group will be meeting at 11:45am at Costa Coffee, Salford Quays, Media City, Unit 1, M50 2EQ. We'll then go to Media City to deliver the petition to the BBC and ITV studios.
