Running alongside our STAMMAFest conference, Family Day, on Saturday 22nd August in Northampton, is a day packed with activities for children and sessions for parents & guardians.
Children & young people
It's a chance for your child to meet others just like them who stammer. They'll get to make friends, and enjoy fun and creative confidence-building workshops in a place where it's OK to stammer.
Parents & guardians
Plus, there'll be talks and Q&As where you as parents/guardians can learn more about stammering and how to support your child.
You'll also get to meet other families to share experiences and tips.
[My son] had an amazing day! He loved the activities and meeting other children like him who stammer. He's also kept in touch with some of the children with hopes of meeting again someday. We would love to do this again at some point!
