Help produce Yorkshire NHS training videos
We're looking for people in South West Yorkshire to help us with an exciting project!
Here at STAMMA, we're working with South West Yorkshire Partnership Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to help them become a stammer-friendly environment.
Together, we're planning and designing a series of training videos for staff at their NHS Trust, to benefit both employees and people using their services who stammer.
And we're looking for help from people who live locally!
Nicola Maddy, speech & language therapist at the Trust, says:
"We know that this has greater impact when it involves people who stammer, so we hope that as many people as possible will get involved to design, develop, produce, and evaluate the training videos to help us provide the best possible care."
How to help
If you're interested and have a couple of hours available on the 24th or 25th September, we'd LOVE your help.
You can sign up to join one of four discussion sessions. One is online, and the other three are in-person, so you can pick the format and time that works best for you.
Sessions will be run in stammer-friendly ways, so we've got you covered.
So whether you stammer yourself, have experienced stammering in the past, or are a family member, friend, colleague or ally of someone who stammers, please consider getting involved. This is all about making the world a better place for people who stammer!
