A new support community is beginning for students at the University of Westminster!
Anyone who stammers or has a speech difference, or simply wants to be part of an understanding and friendly space, will be welcome.
Group leader Omosalewa says: 'I am a postgraduate student at the University of Westminster. I have lived with a stammer since childhood, so I understand the emotional, academic and social challenges it can bring.
'I want to create a supportive space at the University of Westminster where students who stammer can share experiences, build confidence and feel understood. Knowing that even King George VI faced similar struggles shows the importance of community and encouragement. I am committed to leading this group, and with support from STAMMA, I hope it becomes a safe, empowering network for students across the university".
