Do you approve of fluency devices or do you think they increase stigma towards stammering? A researcher at Bangor University would love to hear from you.

Michael Pendlebury is investigating the opinions of people of stammer towards technology that aims to increase speech fluency. This can include apps and devices where you wear headphones that play your speech with delayed feedback, or a metronome.

Michael invites you to join him for an informal interview over Microsoft Teams to share your thoughts on them.

  • The interview should take around an hour.
  • You need to a person who stammers to take part.
  • You'll be rewarded with a £10 Amazon voucher.
  • Interviews will be recorded so that Michael can write up the conversation.

If you would like to take part, email Michael at mcp18ysr@bangor.ac.uk
