Calling all stammering researchers and clinicians. Organisers of The 14th Oxford Stuttering and Cluttering Research Conference invite you to submit abstracts for their event in September.

The conference, formerly known as The Oxford Dysfluency Conference, brings together speech & language therapists and researchers, providing a chance to discuss and present current research and clinical practices.

It takes place at St Catherine's College Oxford from 23rd to 26th September and the theme this year is 'Building the Future'.

Organisers invite you to submit abstracts on the following topics:

  • Conceptualising stuttering
  • Genetics and Neurophysiology
  • More than speech
  • Cluttering and acquired stuttering
  • Advancing clinical practice through research.

You can make your submissions using the conference's online abstract submission system.

The deadline for abstract submissions is 4th April 2025.

You can find more information about the conference, its speakers and submissions formats on their website

To go with their new name, the organisers are also looking for a new logo. You can send your ideas as drawings, written descriptions or photos to s.hayward@elsevier.com. The deadline for that is 1st August.

(Note: this is not an event run by STAMMA).
