After a busy 2024, our brilliant team of support service volunteers will be taking a well-deserved Christmas break.

With that in mind, here are the opening times for our helpline & webchat over the festive period:

  • Friday 20th December to Sunday 5th January: Closed
  • Monday 6th January 2025: Re-opens, 10am-2pm and 4-8pm.

If you want to send us an email to hello@stamma.org we will answer it as soon as we can after we return on the 6th January.

Really need to talk?

Christmas can be a difficult time. If you feel that you need to talk to someone, here are some alternative helplines you can try when we're closed:

  • Samaritans: You can talk to someone, anytime of the day or night and they'll listen. Call 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org
  • The Mix: Support service for young people. Use the webchat on their site or call 0808 808 4994.
  • CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably. A free helpline if you're hitting crisis or feeling down. Confidential and anonymous. Phone: 0800 58 58 58 or see their site for webchat.

From everyone here at STAMMA, have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
