A stammering support group starting in September for anyone in or around Colne, Lancashire, or on Zoom if you live outside the area.
Paul, the group organiser, would love to hear from anyone who is interested in joining. He says, "this will be a friendly, supportive space for people who stammer and want help to cope. We’ll chat, share experiences and face life’s challenges together.
'People can choose and practise their speech in a safe environment, and it will be a place to be heard, supported and understood. Take the first step, we look forward to welcoming you".

- The group will start in September 2026.
- It will meet in person at the Colne Open Doors centre.
- Some meetings will be on Zoom and others will be a hybrid of the two.
- Everyone is welcome, even if you live outside the area (via Zoom).
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and should phone first.
