Members of the Stammering London support group invite you to a picnic in a London park, followed by a stammering pride march this August.

Patrick and Laura, from the central London-based group, says, "We invite people who stammer and allies to meet together on Saturday, 2nd August in Victoria Park (East London), for a chance to chat and have fun together but also to be a little radical.

'We will gather together at 1pm for a potluck picnic to begin with. We encourage people to bring food and drinks to share together. We will relax and chat. After this, we will have a rather impromptu Stammering Pride march around the park. Expect music, smiles, and laughter.

'After the march, we plan to hang around the park, play some games and potentially go to a local pub.

'Anyone and everyone who stammers or is related to stammering is invited. We appreciate that people have differing views on Stammering Pride and may not wish to take part in the march and just be there to see people, which is totally fine — people are invited to come for as long or as little as they like.

'We will meet at 1pm by the Chinese Pagoda in Victoria Park, East London as a landmark. We will be holding the stammering pride flag. See you there! Feel free to email us at stammeringlondon@gmail.com for more information.
