Fundraisers & events

John's Yorkshire 10 mile run

John Russell is running the Altra Yorkshire 10 mile for STAMMA, in the memory of his late wife Melanie and friend Roy, both STAMMA supporters.

John says, "I have received much support and guidance from STAMMA regarding my own stammering journey. This is my way of saying thank you."

Family Fun Day, Cleethorpes

The Lincolnshire Stammering Support Group is putting on a special arts & crafts events in Cleethorpes on Thursday 22nd October to celebrate International Stammering Awareness Day.

'Threads of conversation' workshop

Tash Bronson, Art Facilitator at That Arty Place, invites you to Threads of Conversation, a family-friendly creative art workshop in Hertfordshire on Saturday 24th October, with a share of the proceeds going to STAMMA. 

You don't need to stammer to join, everyone is welcome.

Zari's MMA Challenge, 19th Dec

Zari Farhan is taking part in a mixed martial arts (MMA) cage fight on the 19th December in Manchester. 

Zari says, "I want to raise awareness, help support people who stammer and show that having a stammer should never stop anyone from chasing their goals, finding their confidence or being heard. So when I step into that cage, I will be fighting for something bigger than myself".
