The Great South Run 2022

Marathon runners' legs
Date

On Sunday 16th October, two of our supporters, Paul and Ryan, will be taking on the Great South Run in Portsmouth to raise funds and awareness for STAMMA. Take part yourself, cheer them on and donate.

First, we'd love it if you could show the pair some love by donating at Paul's JustGiving page and Ryan's JustGiving page. A 10-mile run through Portsea, Southsea and along the coast is an incredible effort, all to support people who stammer across the UK.

fancy joining in?

Second, we're still on the lookout for runners to join them! With the choice of a 5k and a 10-mile run, there's something for all abilities. The Great South Run also takes place the weekend before International Stammering Awareness Day, so you have the perfect excuse to get fit while doing something amazing for a good cause!

It's free — we'll pay your entry fee. We'll even pop over one of our cool STAMMA Running Vests in the post. All we ask is that you set up a JustGiving page and share it with your friends, family and on social media, so we can raise as much as possible.

Cheer on Paul & Ryan

If you'd like to come along to show your support, but aren't interested in running, we're planning on grabbing a drink afterwards. All are welcome to a stammer-friendly meet-up as we cheer them on from the sidelines and have a chat once the race has finished.
