A London-based public speaking group for people who stammer.
Group founder Harry says, "We are an official Toastmasters public speaking group in London especially for people who stammer or have other speech differences, and/or those with social anxiety.
'At Kings Speakers you will get the opportunity to:
- overcome your fear of speaking in front of groups
- improve your confidence and self-esteem levels
- gain organisational and leadership skills by taking on roles within the club.
'You can come as a guest and get the chance to develop your public speaking skills. You do not have to say or do anything if you don't want to. You can simply turn up, sit back and watch people push themselves out of their comfort zones. There is no need to confirm your attendance; you are most welcome to just show up at one of our meetings, and you will be warmly welcomed."
It you want to get more involved you can become a Toastmasters member, for a fee. If not, you can carry on attending as a guest.
