MIssed our ISAD events? Watch them back

27th October 2021

Watch the online events we organised for International Stammering Awareness Day (ISAD) last Friday.

The main event was 'Stammmering in the Media', a really interesting evening discussion hosted by Scroobius Pip (actor, rapper and podcaster) about how TV and film portrays stammering and what we can do to change it for the better. He was joined by BBC journalist Lydia Campbell, engineering manager Paul Roberts, and STAMMA Trustees Chantal Anderson and Rhian Binns. Watch it back below.

Earlier in the day we held 'Stammering, Diversity & Inclusion', a lunchtime webinar aimed at employers and organisations. It was all about how to create a welcome environment for people who stammer. Watch the video below, as host Paul Roberts chats to clinical psychiatrist Sophia Williams, university student Aman Khan, finance manager Mandy Taylor and apprenticeship & employment tutor Natalie Mortimer.
